Cookie is a small text file, being either temporarily saves in the User’s computer memory (so called short-term cookie files) or is situated in the computer hard disk (so called permanent cookie files) by the web pages server. These files are uniquely assigned to the User’s computer and they can only be read by the internet servers in the domain, having assigned the cookie files. Bank uses the short-term cookie files, which are usually deleted immediately after the User stops using the Bank’s Web Page browser. The use of cookie files by the Bank is strictly limited to the transfer of data, consisting in the random numbers generated by the Bank’s Web Page server, the use of which is required for the safe and effective browsing through the Bank’s Web page. Use of the cookie files on the Bank’s Web Page is by no means interconnected to such information about the User, which would enable his/her identification during his/her presence in the Bank’s Web Page pursuant to the Personal Data Protection Act.
