Diversity, equality & inclusion
Diversity, equality and inclusion are not just empty corporate buzzwords that we “proudly” espouse a few times a year. We have known for a long time that supporting diversity is what helps us achieve long-term success.
It is precisely this diversity that can bring our teams unique experience, perspective, and new ways of thinking.
That is why we place such importance on equal and fair pay, mental health care, and support for parents, the LGBTQ+ community, and people with disabilities. We want everyone to be able to develop themselves regardless of their identity, origin, or faith.
Because as we develop, society can develop to be healthier and more productive.
Diversity in numbers
People are not just numbers or items to us. Using careful statistics, we can identify inequalities and at the same time see how we have improved in addressing them. We regularly monitor our performance not only within the bank, but also in comparison with the benchmarks for banks under the auspices of the Czech Banking Association.
Gender diversity

- 61 % of our employees are women
- 40 % of management positions are held by women
- 25 % of women on the board of directors
Did you know that…?
The pay gap between men and women in the same positions is 1.57% in our company?
We carefully monitor this difference in wages (known as the gender pay gap) on an ongoing basis and then adjust our remuneration system to ensure that it is as fair as possible.
We are an international team.
Our colleagues come from Czechia, Slovakia, and 27 other countries
Age doesn't matter to us
Four generations inspire each other in our teams. The average age of our employees is 44, offering us the right balance of experience, a desire to innovate, and a fresh and original view of the world.
Baby Boomers – 9 % (1946-1967)
Gen X – 53 % (1968-1982)
Gen Y – 33 % (1983-1997)
Gen Z – 6 % (1998-2010)
We believe that sharing information and knowledge is the most important way to grow. We support young talent and anyone who wants to develop. Not just for their own sake, but because they will raise the professional level of the entire company.
In cooperation with partner universities, we offer:
✅ Specialised lectures and practical exercises
✅ Soft skills workshops
✅ Consultation on final papers and projects
✅ Support in semester projects
✅ Internships and mentoring
✅ Certified courses in financial modelling, data analysis, or mergers and acquisitions
✅ Tutoring
Who do we work with?
🤝 Bratislava University of Economics
🤝 Prague University of Economics—Faculty of Business Administration and Faculty of International Relations
🤝 MUNI Brno—Faculty of Economics and Administration
We offer students long-term, part-time jobs, which often become their first full-time employment. Our successful annual trainee programme enables economics graduates to gain experience from the best in their field.
Management in touch
We believe that a speak-up culture is the foundation of effective collaboration and healthy growth. Each of our employees can express their opinions, concerns, or suggestions—whether these issues concern work processes, team dynamics, or the overall direction of the company.
To be even closer to our people, we hold regular meetings with CEO Jakub Dusílek and Vice-Chairman of the Board Slavomír Beňa. Here we share important strategic information, we are not afraid to broach sensitive topics, and above all, we answer questions that employees are genuinely interested in.
Wellbeing of our employees

Even in the world of finance, we realise that the key to success is not just numbers, but above all the people who work with those numbers. That is why we care not only about their career growth, but also about their overall wellbeing and life balance.
Wellbeing is not just a modern concept for us, but a real priority. Our employees enjoy flexible working hours, the option to work from home, free yoga and other workout classes at our head office, relaxation areas, and psychological support. We believe that when you feel good, you can do anything.
Did you know that…?
We offer free psychotherapeutic support to all employees?
With the online platform, they have access to expert consultations and therapy sessions at any time — discreetly, of course, and from the comfort of their own homes. The service is available 24/7.
In addition, we have a section on our intranet dedicated specifically to mental health, with useful tips and tools for improving mental wellbeing. Here, employees can find inspiring stories from colleagues who share their experiences.
Learning as the key to success
Throughout the company, we strive to build a culture of a so-called learning organisation in which continuous development and knowledge sharing are a natural part of everyday work. Sharing knowledge helps us make full use of the company's know-how and to achieve our goals together, in line with our motto—as one team.
Did you know that…?
In 2024, we spent 43,636 hours on mandatory training and 71,408 hours on voluntary training?

What helps us develop most of all
✅ Soft skills training to strengthen communication and management skills
✅ Certification and professional training in accordance with regulatory requirements
✅ Supporting successors in their career growth
✅ Mentoring and coaching, job rotation and internships, shadowing
Devoting time and energy to training
📌 80 instructors from our ranks provide more than 1,600 hours of training per year
📌 74 mentoring pairs help people develop each other
📌 10 internal coaches support employee growth and performance
In addition to standard training courses, we also offer specialised development programmes for selected groups of employees. From young talents to aspiring managers to programmes tailored to the needs of individual divisions.
Supporting colleagues with disabilities
We support employees with disabilities and build an inclusive work environment. Both the Czech and Slovak head offices are fully wheelchair accessible. Employees who need it also have free barrier-free parking at our company.
If their health condition requires it, we offer people more flexible working conditions, such as shorter working hours or more home office time.
We know that health limitations may not always be visible, which is why we also focus on educating our colleagues about perceptions of stereotypes and hidden disabilities. We also train managers and work with external partners to ensure equal opportunities and to combat discrimination.

Keeping in touch with our colleagues on parental leave
Even when they are on maternity or parental leave, we still keep in touch with them. We have prepared a special website for them with information, news, and job offers, and we invite them to parent meetings, inspirational webinars, and family events in cooperation with the trade union.

When work permits, we try to make it easier for parents to return to work—whether through shorter working hours, working from home, or flexible working hours. As a result, 15% of parents with children under the age of 3 are engaged in work.3.
Promoting flexibility
Did you know that…?
10 % of our employees work part-time?
Working from home is common practice at our company—where work permits, it can be up to two days a week.
And if you feel like it, you can enjoy up to 10 days of working abroad per year.

We support the LGBTQ+ community
We strive to raise awareness among employees about LGBTQ+ issues through discussions with representatives of this community. In the past, we have welcomed guests such as lawyer and representative of the Jsme fér initiative Adéla Horáková, Ester Janečková from the non-profit organisation Sbarvouven, and human rights activist Kryštof Stupka.

What is key for us?
- Equal opportunities and a safe environment
Everyone should be able to be themselves without fear of judgement or discrimination. We strive to build an environment where everyone feels respected and safe.
- Authenticity brings performance
When people do not have to hide who they really are, they can fully develop their potential. A satisfied team delivers better results.
- Breaking down barriers
Prejudices disappear when they are discussed openly. That is why we support dialogue that unites rather than divides.
We are a team where everyone has their place.
